With over 18 years of work in the publishing industry you could say that I have learned everything there is from the back-end to senior management. Having this experience has given me a broad perspective of seeing things from both sides which has been valuable and unique when challenged with finding workflow solutions and/or managing projects. I am accustomed to working on multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment. I have managed the workflow for10 high profile science research journals with weekly online deadlines and monthly print components, coordinating staff and managing deadlines in different time zones as well as assessing and addressing quality control issues. I have excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. I enjoy working in a creative environment that allows for collaboration and an exchange of ideas where my skills, experience and expertise can be put to use and also allows for the growth and development of those skills. I am currently looking for permanent position in either graphic design, page layout, project management or workflow management and am available also for freelance graphic design work.
Hobbies: I love music and I designed and maintain a website for one of my favorite singer-songwriters, Gene Clark (www.Gene-Clark.com). I also maintain the related social media sites and content for the website as well as a monthly online newsletter called 'Echoes' (https://www.gene-clark.com/echoes-newsletters). I recently started a podcast on the music of
Gene Clark.
